Physio-Led Baby Yoga, Massage & Reflexology

Our classes are for babies aged 12 weeks to 12 months old. Touch is one of the first senses to develop. When a baby is in the womb they experience a constant massage from their mother’s gentle movements. Once they are born, babies need to be touched to thrive, and parents can use the positive touch, such as yoga and massage, to satisfy this need and help them communicate and bond with their baby. Baby massage has been a common practice in many cultures for hundreds of years. Baby massage came to the western society in 1970s and is now taught to parents by many health professionals.

Babies explore the world around them through 3 main senses – sight, hearing and touch. Through using a variety of simple massage techniques you will start to develop a better understanding of your baby’s cues, forming a closer bond with your child.
